Q - What technologies facilitated the regime change we witnessed in Egypt today? List 3. Describe how each technology came about and how each were used in support of the protest.
1)The use of almost instant communication through facebook- Was created by a college student trying to unite people through the internet. Allowed the revolutionary leaders to communicate and have people be able to talk with having to meet somewhere
2)Television-enabled other places and people to get inspired and support the revolution. Created by Edwin Belin in 1922 to solve the problem of how to showing motion pictures.
3)The internet- Created by Vinton Cerf in 1973 to solve the problem of long distance communication. Used not only for instant communication as stated earlier but alsoallowed people to read the laws and what they disagreed with so they would have a reason to start or help the revolution.
